Effects of Varied Forms of Arsenic Stress on Seedling Growth and Arsenic Distribution in Honeysuckle Plants

At present, soil arsenic contamination is one of the prominent environmental problems. The concentration in honeysuckle exceeds standard levels, thus affecting quality traditional Chinese medicine. In this study, hydroponic method was employed to explore effect organic (dimethyl arsenic) and trivalent inorganic (NaAsO2) on growth plants. study demonstrated that low concentrations (10–20 mg/L) 10–50 mg/L had a stimulating activities antioxidant enzymes (peroxidase catalase) increased correspondingly. However, system plants damaged under high (20–40 50–70 arsenic.
